Dyson dc25

I had always wanted a Dyson brand vacuum ever since they were first introduced but when I first looked at them they seemed way to heavy that I would need 1 for each level of my house with no where to store them.

The Dyson dc25 weighs just under 12 pounds and fits in my coat closet easily and I can easily carry it up and down the stairs without hurting or straining my back or arms. This model has a lot of clever features. On of my favorites is that the cleaning head is very low profile which allows it to hug the floor boards under my kitchen cabinets. The Dyson dc25  ball design makes it so easy to use and doesn’t hurt my back when I use it.

The cleaning power is unmatched. Even though this model is not labeled for pet hair it does an amazing job of cleaning my dog and cat hair from the floors and my upholstry. As an experiment I cleaned once with my old vacuum and then ran the Dyson over the same area and filled it up. It was incredible to see how much the old one didn’t pick up.

Dyson dc25 Assembly

Assembling the Dyson dc25 was completed in 3 easy steps using no tools. Tip: when attaching the wand I think the picture is wrong so just turn it around to the other side and it will snap right in.

Other vacuums I have owned have hand tools that don’t work or are just very awkward to use. The tools on this vacuum are so easy to pull out and I can even reach ceiling cobwebs with ease. The attachments also have great suction power so I can clean tight spaces, window sills, etc. without much effort.

Dyson dc25 Cons

The one con I would say about the Dyson dc25 is the stair attachment because it isn’t quite wide enough to make cleaning my stairs very fast. Like other vacuums trying to clean the stairs without this attachment can be somewhat of a challenge and pain by carrying the whole vacuum up each stair. I know that is a nit picky complaint and therefore I can’t take off of star for just that.

This vacuum is expensive but I fell well worth the initial investment considering that I will never have to buy another vacuum again, not to mention those messy bags and belts. I would highly recommend the Dyson dc25 to anyone who wants to have a cleaner house in less time.
